Body of Needs day spa offers a combination of massage and body treatments. We have custom-tailored treatments based on a clinical understanding of the physiological and psychological needs of the human body. Each treatment offers corresponding products to maximize effectiveness and insure that the clients’ needs are met. The setting is upscale, beautiful and serene. We cater to both men and women and offer the latest in products and therapies.

Wellness is more than freedom from illness: it is a dynamic process of change and growth, a state of complete physical, mental and social well being. Our products and services have been carefully curated to address the 7 categories of basic human needs: Understanding, Connection, Creativity, Safety, Esteem, Self-governance, and Physical and Psychological health. Our approach to Integrated Holistic Wellness delivers treatments customized to your needs.

Ambiance and Boutique Design

Our clients’ immersive wellness experience is enhanced by our New England birch forests design. You’ll choose the background music for your service to foster a personalized and relaxing experience during each of your visits.

Professional therapists

Our therapists are highly experienced and have received training in various massage techniques. The therapists are certified by the state of Connecticut after passing hundreds of hours of training. We offer both a standard and customizable massage technique for every treatment to ensure you get the same quality massage on every visit.

Finest environment and products

Our clients expect the highest hygienic standards. We change bed linen, towels, and other personal products after every treatment. We also make sure to only use finest natural oils and herbs on your body.

COMPANY POLICIES

Cancellations

We request that you cancel 24 hours before the time of your service to avoid a charge of 100% of the booked services. We will notify you to confirm your appointment via text, email, or phone and work with your schedule to accommodate your needs.

Payment for Services and Products

We accept all major credit and debit cards including: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover for payment of services and products. For your convenience, you may also pay with your phone using apple or google pay.

Children

We serve clients of all ages! However to accommodate all guests and for safety reasons we do ask that they stay in the waiting room during your service(s) and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Late Arrivals

We do our best to accommodate late arrivals. Calling ahead provides us the best opportunity to assess the situation. However, calling ahead does not always guarantee that we will be able to provide the full service time, especially if your arrival is later than anticipated.

Products Return

We guarantee your satisfaction with our products. If you decide that is not the right product for you, we will happily exchange it or issue a merchandise credit within 14 days of the purchase if the product has remained unopened. No cash or credit cards refunds, exchange only. Soaps, oils and lotions that are not in sealed containers are non-refundable.

Check in

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your service. This allows you time to settle into the spa, fill out any medical intake forms, and transition your mind and body from the world outside to a state of relaxation before your service begins.

Gratuities

Tips are always at the discretion of our guests and are not included in the price of services. In appreciation of outstanding service, your therapist graciously accept gratuities. Envelopes are available at the front desk if you would like to leave cash or you may add it to your balance and put it on a credit card.

Cell Phones

We ask that your phones remain on silent for the duration of your visit. If there is an emergency and you need to talk on the phone we ask you leave the spa for the duration of the call to protect the experience for everyone receiving treatment.

I have known the owner for a while having worked with him in the past.  Having known about Body of Needs for some time I could not wait to come and check it out. I hear about Body Of Needs Spa a few months ago after bouncing around from place to place getting ok at best and then some awesome experiences.
